AWS A5.18 ER70S-6 : IRMA SW-70

Characteristics and Application

IRMA SW-70 is a high-performance copper coated solid welding wire formulated and manufactured for Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW). With carefully selected raw materials chemistry and manufacture with treated surface technology, IRMA SW-70 delivers smooth wire feeding, excellent arc stability and minimal spatter for cleaner welds and reduced post-weld cleaning. It is suitable for manual and mechanized/robotic welding, and performs well with common CO₂ and Ar–CO₂ shielding gas mixes.
